Notes:

If you are not using atlinkwifi email account then please use “smtp.atlinkwifi.com” as your email gateway without authentication.

How to Set up Outlook 2000 Accounts

1. Open Microsoft Outlook 2000. A box similar to the one below will appear.

1. On the menu at the top click on "Tools".
2. On the drop down menu that appears click on "Accounts...". The below dialog box will appear.

3. Click on the "Add" button and select "Mail". The internet connection wizard will open as shown below.

4. Enter a descriptive name of the account such as "atlink mail account".
5. Click the "Next" button. A dialog box asking for your email address for this account will appear as shown below.

6. Enter your email address you will be setting the account up for (which would be similar to username@atlinkwifi.com).

7. Click the "Next" button. A dialog box asking for your email server names will appear as shown below. Fill in mail.atlinkwifi.com for both POP3 server address and SMTP server address.

8. Click the "Next" button. A dialog box asking for your email logon name and password for this account will appear as shown below. Enter your full email address (e.g. username@atlinkwifi.com as username).

9. Click the "Next" button. A dialog box asking how you connect to the internet will appear as shown below.
10. Select ‘Connect using my Local Area Network’.

11. Click on Next.
12. A dialog box indication you are finished will appear

• Then Goto tools and Accounts.

Choose your accounts and go to account properties.

• In the servers tab do a check on “Do a check on “My outgoing server require authentication
• Make sure “Use same settings as my incoming mail server” checked in
• Hit OK.
• Configuration completed.
