At any time I have between 2  6 computers a WII and a blue ray player online.  I know how to track the bandwidth on each computer but what I want to do is track the total bandwidth being used.  I got a linksys wireless router that I thought would track the total bandwidth used, it does not.  The reason is while each computer is only getting 250 to 500 k I think the total is closer to the 1.5 M I am paying forl.  Is there such a thing, that does not cost an arm and legl

depends on what you consider an arm and a leg, but you might check out Cisco's Network Magic. I have not had time to really play with it, but they do give you a free trial to test things out.

If you have a Linksys and are a bit savy about firmware updates I would recommend DD-WRT.

http://www.dd-wrt.com/

It basically replaces the OS in the router and has great bandwidth monitoring.  It will tell you your total amount of data used on a daily/monthly basis and keeps records until you purge it.

I have 2 linksys routers setup in my house as a wireless repeater mesh using DD-WRT so I have full coverage all over the house.

http://www.dd-wrt.com/demo/

This demo link shows you what it looks like as you are logged into the router.

Click Status, then Bandwidth.  Since this isnt really installed you wont see the data, but this screen will show current bandwidth charting.

On the WAN tab under traffic you would see a chart with the current month totals, daily totals and options to check history.
